Hi Joe, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to introduce yourself.
My professional and personal story is short, especially since I consider it to begin when I started in Publix – it’s where I found my passion for serving people. In 2o11, I started working for Publix supermarkets, where, at the time, I thought it would be my career. I managed schedules, people, and customers and had high-level training in leadership and management. Ultimately, my decision to go into the real estate world was started by a perfect friend of mine who was an entrepreneur, and he spoke on my desire to run my schedule and have more scheduling freedom – he told me it would be “life-changing”; and it was. I began my real estate career in August 2017 and flourished by nourishing my contacts and connections. Close to me when I looked back at my Publix career and where my real estate business was taking me (needing help due to my business being blessed). I was drawn to open my brokerage with a fresh take on a business model where I can impact other real estate agents by building meaningful relationships through their businesses and being intentional with their communities. I still personally sell real estate, but my passion for coaching, helping people, and creating success stories for others has guided me to where I am now – the broker of Real Estate on the Riviera – and having a passion for their success. I’m a believer in Christ, which is my main job. I serve Him through the vehicle of Real Estate as His success story, not my own.
You wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
I don’t think any entrepreneur has had a “smooth road,” but I’ve been blessed during my journey. Some of my struggles were learning how to run my business, do my taxes, account for the proper things in an LLC, and manage my own personal schedule. When your business’ success solely relies on the daily effort you bring to the table, it can be a lonely, hard, tumultuous ride, but one I certainly wouldn’t change.

My brokerage is a grassroots-focused real estate company. That is an actual one-stop shop that “specializes” in Residential Real Estate, Commercial Real Estate, and Long and Short Term Property Management with a massive focus on client satisfaction while being involved in our local communities by giving back. Our culture sets us apart; congruency in our brokerage has led to raving fans, a referral-based business, and a presence you can’t lose.
What quality or characteristic is most important to your success?
The one characteristic RER focuses on is being more like Christ. He was the perfect example of how to serve others wholeheartedly without hesitation. Concentrating on loving others, operating an integrity-based business, and genuinely caring for our people will make the company the best it can be.
