Meet Jonathan Peach of Top MedSpa & Clinic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Peach.

Hi Jonathan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I worked as a Nurse Practitioner for a medical office for approximately nine years, and my wife encouraged me to open a medical practice on our own as a new autonomous Nurse Practitioner. We have a primary care office with IV hydration that opened in October. We do primary care/family medicine to include chronic care of diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure, and cardiac disease, to name a few, and IV hydration therapy with vitamins. It has been an exciting and scary process so far, and looking forward to getting going with the new business.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It wasn’t terrible; it was just trying to jump through all the hoops without knowing what all those hoops were. It was getting financial support and doing all the individual steps required by the city, county, and state to be certified as a medical office. Many questions were asked along the way.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Top MedSpa & Clinic?
This is a new medical office in Lake Mary, FL. We specialize in treating you like family and not just another patient. We want the opportunity to help with your medical needs and will treat you like how I would like my mother treated. My medical career started about 25 years ago as an EMT and then as a Paramedic. I worked for eight years as a Paramedic on an ambulance (working privately, with interfacility transports, quasi-government, and a fire department). It was an exciting time, but I could do more for people. I went to nursing school, became an Emergency Department RN, and then continued my education as a Nurse Practitioner. I worked as a Nurse Practitioner in an internal medicine clinic until starting Top MedSpa & Clinic.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Medicine will always be around, but in what capacity and how it will be run will be interesting. Multiple companies are getting away from insurance and using cash-based services only for many patients, which can be beneficial, but not everyone can go without insurance. So there will always be a need for insurance and cash-based practices. Technology is constantly evolving and will impact healthcare. We’ve had telehealth services for years, but only in Covid did we start to use telehealth. Now I don’t see us returning to only face-to-face visits.

Pricing:

  • New visit $100
  • Returning visit $85
  • IV hydration starts at $105
  • Ultrasounds/echos $100/125
  • Currently cash based but in the process to take some commercial insurances
