Today we’d like to introduce you to Juan Quiroga. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Juan Quiroga is the Founder and CEO of JCQ Services, a leading Hispanic-owned General Contractor and Project Management company founded in 1998 in Orlando, FL. Mr. Quiroga was born in Peru and moved to the United States as a teenager. While attending high school, he worked with his mother cleaning offices to help support his family. He motivated his mom to open a business to provide maintenance to office buildings and new constructions. As a young entrepreneur eager to learn new skills and get job opportunities, he accepted a company that gave him a high-rise window washing contract in Downtown Orlando as a client. He didn’t have any experience and was afraid of heights. However, this experience helped him discover his ability to overcome challenges and was a turning point in his entrepreneurial journey. He also appreciated the opportunities this amazing country offers to those who are determined, committed, and ethical.
In 1998, he opened JCQ Services. He began working on special construction projects with General Contractor remodeling hotel rooms. His primary goal was to become a preferred contractor for Walt Disney World Resort. With hard work and determination, he succeeded in that goal. JCQ Services has completed over one hundred thousand (100,000) remodeling jobs at Disney hotel rooms and many other five-star hotels nationwide. Mr. Quiroga has become one of the most influential Hispanic leaders in the construction industry in the southeast region. He has expanded his company services to include logistics, warehousing, construction technology, demolition, and waste diversion. Stanford University recognized his success as a Successful Hispanic business owner and role model inviting him to be a part of the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative in 2021. Juan is the proud father of 5 children and is married to Anna Quiroga, an internationally recognized journalist in Europe and USA
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not always been a smooth road. We have gone through many struggles in the past/currently. Most of our challenges stem from being a minority-owned business, which can serve as an advantage other times you could be underestimated because of it.

We believe luck is the result of hard work, commitment, and consistency. We have realized throughout the years that the more customer devoted we are, the “luckier” we get.
