Hi Juaquina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My business started (and still is) as an extension of my spiritual practice. I have found guidance and healing for life’s hardest struggles through spirituality, and I wanted to share this with others in a safe way.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly, while I have experienced minor inconveniences, my path got a lot smoother once I committed to my business. It was like I finally stepped into alignment with my life’s purpose and onto the path of least resistance.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a spiritual reader, sound healer, and more. I would summarize it all as a spiritual practitioner. It is my life’s purpose and passion to create intimate, safe spaces for the community to go deeper in their healing journey and spiritual practices. I have done this through community forums, meditative hikes, full moon gatherings, sound healing, and spiritual readings both privately and in group settings.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is making healing and the tools needed accessible. I come from a lower middle class upbringing and have several people in my community currently living below the poverty line, and it breaks my heart that we often have to go without the assistance we need. I am disappointed by the amount of healers and practitioners whose main focus is the amount of money they can charge instead of the community that needs the most help. Financial strain is one of the biggest obstacles in wellness, but this is too often overlooked. So, while I know the value I bring to every space, I always pray about price point to make sure the people who need what I have to offer are able to receive it. I also offer pro bono readings to anyone in financial hardship (each person can receive this once a year).
