Meet Justin Guerra of Orlando

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Guerra.

Hi Justin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Growing up, my family visited the Orlando theme parks throughout the 90s. As a kid, those parks filled me with joy and imagination, feelings I still carry to this day.

Over the years, I tried different hobbies and passions, but nothing ever compared to walking down Main Street or seeing the T-Rex at Islands of Adventure. During the pandemic, my wife and I budgeted to visit the parks again, and when we finally went in October 2020, everything changed. We became annual passholders for both Disney and Universal, and it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

I started watching theme park vloggers like Kyle Pallo and Tyler Pugh, and their personal advice that they gave me helped catapult my courage to start my own channel. Now, I wake up every day excited to share my love for the parks, bring people the latest updates, and inspire others to chase their passions. These parks truly are for everyone no matter who you are, there’s something here for you.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Challenges come day by day. Through social media and the theme park world, I’ve learned that every obstacle and challenge is just part of the ride. From dealing with setbacks to pushing through the tough days, each moment has taught me patience, creativity, and resilience. Growth doesn’t happen when things are easy it happens when you keep showing up. If it was easy everyone would be doing it.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart from the others I’d like to think is the creative ways I do transitions in my short form Instagram reels, and in my long form I feel that I can be more personal. I tend not to do a whole lot of edits and a whole lot of takes on my YouTube videos. I really like to be the most authentic that I can be give it. Yes, there is some challenges that I do take on being, loud environments people yelling in the background and which I love it’s part of the theme park world. It’s part of the love for that I have for the parks, but I’d say that I don’t do a whole lot of takes whenever I’m creating a food review. I usually just say how I feel about the item and I tend to put cinematic B roll over my reviews to engage with the viewer and also just give them a perspective that even though I don’t like the food item, you might so I don’t like the bash on totally everything even though I may not agree or like it.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was a very curious kid. I always fascinated with how ride systems worked, and I wanted to dig deeper into this realm of creativity. I’ve always wanted to know how the ride system worked and back in the 90s, there wasn’t a whole lot of information on it so over the years I searched and was very interested in seeing how theme park engineers fully created a world or a ride that fully immersed you so much that you thought it was real. I think that it is one of the reasons that I fell in love with this whole theme park world.
