Hi K, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
My love of baking came from my grandmother and my mother. From the early ages of 5, we were making Biscottis, Italian wedding cookies, wedding soup, and so many more goodies in the kitchen. It was only right that I continued our family traditions in a more modern way with dipped treats, bespoke cupcakes, cookies, and shape cakes. My love for desserts flourished into a part-time bakery, KakezByK, which was established in 2020 at the start of the pandemic with the love of my life.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Everything new that you come across, is a learning experience; what you do with the information, is up to you. I utilize my struggles and highlights different than most, while rolling with the punches to try to make my business stand out from the typical cake and cookie businesses. I continuously seek ways to improve my craft with new ideas, deals, and the most amazing customer service experience. Keep swimming.
