Today we’d like to introduce you to Kat Gomez.
Hi Kat, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Kat Gomez, I’m from a small town in East Tennessee. I moved to Orlando at 17 after graduating high school at Sevier County Highschool. My passion for film and videography came from my Dad’s love of movies. Both of my parents are immigrants from Colombia and started their own business, so I decided that’s what I wanted to pursue as well. I went to Full Sail University to attended the accelerated certificate course for film and media production in August 2023. I graduated shortly after in May 2024 and I started freelancing around Orlando. I started my business in August 2024, originally named Gomez Visions Productions where I help creatives bring their art to life. I have recently rebranded to ZEMOG Productions where I am still working with many creatives.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not, I struggled first not knowing anyone in a bigger city than when I grew up. I also struggled being a female in a male dominated industry.

I am a creative director and producer I’m known for getting things done quickly and with no resources.
