Today we’d like to introduce you to Kim Kirsch.
Kim, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
After my time at Walt Disney World as a restaurant manager in the early 90s, I did many other things while raising my daughter. I found that I loved writing, so for many years I wrote online content, worked as a reporter for a local newspaper, and did more online content. I was always wondering where the next gig was coming from, and it got a little draining. So, a dear friend suggested health and life insurance. I was skeptical but took the course, went through all that that entailed and got licensed. That was in 2017. I contracted with Healthcare Solutions Team, and from there I have grown my own agency partnering with them. My agency saw 15 agents write business during this last Open Enrollment period and we are not stopping.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Of course there have been many struggles along the way! There are always slow times of the year, buyer’s remorse, and sometimes people can have unrealistic expectations. Agents can also get discouraged when business is slow and it can be difficult to keep their spirits up.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We pride ourselves in having a plan for everyone. And 99.9% of the time, we do! I will listen to a client’s specific situation then shop for the best plan at a price point they can afford. We make sure that the client understands that there is not a one-size-fits-all health insurance plan. This sometimes takes days to find the right plan that covers the doctors, medications and hospitals that the patient needs. I am known for being able to find the right plan for my clients and being honest with them about their expectations. I think what sets me apart from the rest is the willingness to tell them the truth, and to be there after the sale if needed. We are a real local brokerage. We are not a call center when people are just a number. Our clients matter to us.
What I am most proud of about our brand is that we really do go the extra mile. People should know that the types of insurance we offer includes: Health, Life, Dental, Vision, Small Business Group Plans, Medicare, Under 65 Private Market, Under 65 Obamacare/ACA/Marketplace/Exchange plans.

If an agent wants to work with us, contacting me is the best method. If someone wants to collaborate, call me up and we will work out a deal that we can be referral partners. As far as actual support goes, people can support me but sharing my content and of course referring people to me when they hear that someone is in need of any of the insurances listed above.
