Meet Krissy Davis of CryoSculpt Body Lab

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krissy Davis.

Hi Krissy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My path to founding CryoSculpt Body Lab began with my own body transformation. After losing a significant amount of weight, I was proud of the progress I had made—but like many people, I was still struggling with stubborn areas that wouldn’t respond to diet and exercise. I wasn’t interested in surgery, which led me to discover cryolipolysis as a non-invasive alternative.

Around that same time, I had completed my MBA and was unexpectedly laid off. It forced me to step back and reevaluate what I wanted to build next. Throughout my career, I had helped build and scale several businesses, and I thought, I’ve done it before—I may as well do it for myself. I began researching the technology, analyzing the business model, and realized there was an opportunity to create something different. I didn’t want to open a traditional med spa with dozens of unrelated services. I wanted to specialize—to focus on one clinically proven treatment and deliver it exceptionally well.

My personal experiences, including the loss of my mother, also reshaped my perspective on purpose and how I wanted to spend my time. CryoSculpt Body Lab became more than a business—it became a way to combine science, transformation, and human connection. Because treatments take place over several weeks, I have the opportunity to build real relationships with clients and support them through their own transformation journeys, helping them feel stronger and more confident both physically and emotionally.

Today, CryoSculpt Body Lab is the realization of that vision: a boutique studio dedicated to delivering focused, non-invasive body contouring in a personalized, supportive environment.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road. One of my biggest early lessons was underestimating the amount of working capital required to launch and sustain a business in its early stages. Like many founders entering a new industry, there are realities you can’t fully anticipate until you’re in it—from understanding client acquisition timelines to building awareness and trust from the ground up.

What has surprised me most is the level of grit and determination required. You have to have a strong and positive internal dialog. Entrepreneurship tests your confidence, your resilience, and your ability to keep moving forward even when progress feels slower than expected. Nearly a year in, I’ve invested deeply—both emotionally and financially—and that commitment has strengthened my belief in what I’m building.

This journey has been a powerful lesson in self-confidence, perseverance, and faith. I’m still very much in the building phase, and every challenge has made me more resourceful and more committed to the long-term vision for CryoSculpt Body Lab. I know that building something meaningful takes time, and I’m proud of the foundation I’ve created.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
CryoSculpt Body Lab is a boutique body contouring studio in Orlando specializing exclusively in non-invasive cryolipolysis, commonly known as fat-freezing. Our focus is on helping clients reduce stubborn fat and enhance muscle tone without surgery, needles, or downtime. We work with individuals who are already living healthy lifestyles but want targeted support in areas that don’t respond to diet and exercise alone.

What sets CryoSculpt Body Lab apart is our commitment to specialization. Rather than offering dozens of unrelated aesthetic services, we focus on one clinically proven modality and deliver it with precision, consistency, and a highly personalized approach. This allows us to create a more thoughtful, educational experience where clients understand the science, the process, and what to expect at every stage of their treatment plan.

Just as important, our work goes beyond aesthetics. True confidence doesn’t come from external change alone , it comes from alignment between physical, emotional, and internal wellbeing. I’ve built relationships with other trusted health and wellness professionals, including therapists, nutritionists, and hormone and stress management specialists, so clients have access to resources that support their overall health. My belief is that when we address what’s happening on the inside, the outside naturally follows—and the results feel more meaningful and lasting.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of creating an environment that feels elevated, intentional, and deeply personal. CryoSculpt Body Lab was designed to be a focused, boutique alternative to traditional med spas. We are centered entirely on client results and experience. I want our clients and your readers to know that this is more than a treatment, it’s a partnership in helping people feel stronger, more confident, and more at home in their own bodies.

As a solo entrepreneur, I rely heavily on technology to help extend my capabilities. I leverage AI tools to support many of the functions a larger team would normally handle. From CRM organization and workflow automation to brainstorming content ideas and refining messaging. It allows me to stay focused on strategy and client experience while still operating efficiently.

Equally important is the human and spiritual support system around me. I’m fortunate to have a strong network of friends, mentors, and fellow entrepreneurs who encourage me, challenge my thinking, and help me stay grounded spiritually. Entrepreneurship can be isolating, and having people who remind you of your purpose and support you through both the highs and lows makes a tremendous difference.

I’ve learned that building something meaningful requires more than just execution. It requires resilience, faith, and the ability to stay aligned with why you started in the first place.
