Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristin Clark.
Hi Kristin, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have always had a passion for cosmetology and love to make people feel good about their hair. I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2009. I was originally born and raised in the Metro Detroit area and moved to Orlando in 2017. Since then, I worked for corporate salon as a hairstylist in Kissimmee (near st cloud) and now have my own salon suite “Styles by Kristin”. I am so happy to own my own business!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Moving from another state meant I had to rebuild my clientele and the Covid lockdown put myself and other salon professionals out of work for a period of time.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am well-rounded when it comes to the services that I offer. I am trained in hair color and highlighting techniques, haircuts for men and women, hair extensions, formal hairstyling, keratin straightening, makeup application, and more. Although I enjoy every service that I offer, I enjoy color corrections and blonding services the most because they can be challenging. I have 13 years of experience in this industry and keep up with the latest trends and techniques.
What do you think about happiness?
When a client tells me that they love how I did their hair. It makes me so happy to make people feel good about their hair and help with their self-esteem.
