Meet Kyle Diogo of Magnifica

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Diogo

Kyle, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Our journey started six years ago when Kensley and I began our first couple modeling shoots. We’d get invitations through social media to model for “mock wedding styled shoots,” which introduced us to the industry. Then in 2020, after we got married, opportunities really opened up for us across Atlanta. Being an official married couple brought unique chances to feature in magazines, catalogs, and various galleries that photographers loved. In September 2021, we took a leap and moved to Orlando, FL. At the time, we only knew one couple there—ironically, the same person who married us and mentored me when Kensley and I were dating. We felt a calling and trusted the Lord would provide for us as believers. Whenever people ask why we moved to Orlando, we tell them about Quay Nights, a young adults ministry in the heart of the city where 18-35-year-olds come together to build community and worship. Since being here, we’ve been blessed in so many ways, from finding community to gaining business opportunities and connections. We’ve come to love Orlando deeply. Modeling has also continued to be a big part of our lives; we’ve worked on projects locally and even internationally, like a styled wedding shoot in Greece! Both Kensley and I also work for a company here called Magnifica. It’s a high-luxury, exclusive global lifestyle brand with its first private residence launching soon in Orlando. We’re thrilled to be part of something so remarkable and look forward to sharing it with the world!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely hasn’t been the smoothest of rides. I would say that one of the biggest challenges we faced was financial. When we moved, we both left our jobs, stepping out in faith and trusting that God would provide. The first year was tough as we tried to make ends meet and adjust to the higher cost of living in Florida compared to what we were used to in Georgia. It was a constant balance between stretching every dollar and staying hopeful.
Another struggle was being young and independent in a new place. At first, it was difficult to find other people our age who were also married. Most people in our age group were single, so it was hard to find peers who understood the unique dynamics of our journey as a young married couple. It taught us resilience and patience, and eventually, we found a community where we felt understood and supported.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
