Today we’d like to introduce you to Laci DeMoss.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey started in the beauty industry, where I worked as an esthetician for over a decade, helping women feel radiant and confident in their own skin. I loved what I did—but there was one moment early on that shifted everything for me. A client came in for a facial, and during the treatment, she began to cry—deep, unexpected tears. It wasn’t about the products or the process. Something had been released in her, emotionally and energetically. She shared a very private story of loss and her journey to that moment with me. She thanked me for the emotional support and said she felt lighter. I wasn’t sure at the time what it was. I just knew that something meaningful had happened, and that I had somehow played a part in it.
That moment stayed with me. I had always known I was different—intuitive, deeply empathetic, sensitive to energy—but I never had a name for those gifts. I didn’t fully understand them, let alone know how to use them. But that experience opened a door. It made me curious. And that curiosity led me on my own healing journey.
I began exploring energy work, hypnosis, inner healing, and holistic wellness. The deeper I went, the more I began to understand myself, not just as a practitioner, but as a healer. As I moved through my own transformation, I documented what was helping me along the way. Privately, I practiced and fine-tuned my energy work. Last year, I opened up my energy practice publicly, and this year, a new group wellness studio. It’s the culmination of everything I’ve learned: a space where women can heal, connect, and come into alignment—body, mind, and spirit. It’s a space for transformation that goes beyond the surface. My work used to be about helping women look radiant on the outside. Now, it’s about helping them feel radiant from within.
Through my journey, I curated tools that helped me and turned them into books. I call them The Healthy Six—a collection of six books that capture the core tools and principles I used to heal, grow, and come back to myself. They began as my personal lifeline and evolved into a roadmap I now use to guide others.
My path hasn’t been conventional, and for a long time, I didn’t fully understand where it was leading me. But looking back, I can see that every step, every question, every challenge, every intuitive nudge—was guiding me home. And now, I get to help others do the same.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s definitely not been a smooth road. In fact, much of my journey has unfolded behind the scenes, in quiet moments of doubt, courage, and growth. When I first started exploring energy work, I kept it very private. I was afraid—afraid of what people might think, of being judged, misunderstood, or not taken seriously. I knew I had gifts, I had always felt that, but I didn’t have the language or confidence yet to stand fully in them.
So for a long time, I practiced in silence. I was building something powerful, but I did it quietly—helping women behind closed doors, working with energy while still showing up publicly as an esthetician. I was living in two worlds: one where I was doing what was expected, and one where I was following a deeper calling I hadn’t yet named out loud.
There were moments of deep self-doubt. I questioned whether people would understand what I was offering. I questioned whether I fully understood it. And like many women starting something new and soul-led, I wrestled with impostor syndrome, especially because this work wasn’t something I could point to with a certificate or a title. It came from within.
But over time, through the women I worked with and the healing I experienced myself, I started to realize that my intuition, my sensitivity, my energy work—those weren’t things to hide. They were the very heart of my purpose. The more I trusted that, the more everything began to align.
So no, it hasn’t been easy. But every fear, every hesitation, every quiet moment spent second-guessing myself has shaped the strength and clarity I now bring into my practice. And that makes the road—however bumpy—completely worth it.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Laci DeMoss Energy and Wellness Collective?
My business is truly an extension of my soul—it’s a space for healing, transformation, and deep reconnection. At its core, it’s about guiding women back to themselves through energy work, spiritual practices, and emotional support. I call it the Energy and Wellness Collective, but it’s really a sanctuary—a place where women can feel safe to be vulnerable, to heal, to expand, and to rise.
In my energy suite, I offer one-on-one sessions—either in person or remotely—for clients seeking deep energetic and emotional support. These sessions are intuitive and customized, often integrating a mix of Reiki, hypnosis, chakra alignment, and intuitive energy reading. I’m certified in several modalities, including Reiki, hypnosis, and sacred feminine embodiment. I’ve also studied under my personal priestess and mentor, which has deepened my work in the divine feminine and allowed me to hold space for truly sacred transformation.
Beyond private sessions, I also offer group experiences—sound baths, guided meditations, chakra healing classes, women’s circles and more. These group gatherings are incredibly powerful; there’s something deeply healing that happens when women come together to support each other in a safe, intentional space.
Another way people can work with me is through my books. I’ve authored six, collectively known as The Healthy Six. Each book is a reflection of a specific phase or tool that supported me in my healing journey. They were originally written as a way to process my own growth, but they’ve now become a guide for others who are walking similar paths.
What sets my brand apart is that everything I offer comes from lived experience. I didn’t build this business from theory—I built it from the ground up, walking through my own healing, honoring my intuitive gifts, and learning how to trust myself in the process. It’s not just about energy work—it’s about holding space for real, raw transformation.
What I’m most proud of, brand-wise, is that it’s deeply authentic. I’m not trying to fit into a mold. I’ve created a practice that allows women to feel seen, heard, and supported in a holistic and spiritual way. Whether someone connects with me through a book, a class, or a session, I want them to walk away feeling more empowered, more connected, and more whole.
For anyone curious about working with me, I invite you to visit me—either in person or virtually. There are so many ways to begin this journey, whether it’s a private session, a group healing experience, or simply picking up one of my books. Wherever you are on your path, there’s a space for you here.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something that often surprises people when they get to know me beyond my work is that I’m a mother of five, have been married for over ten years, and I homeschool all of our children. On top of running a business, writing books, and holding space for others in their healing, I’m also deeply rooted in my role as a mother and wife. Our family is incredibly important to me—we’ve been very intentional about creating a close, connected home life that nurtures love, presence, and shared values.
People often assume that a business like mine must require total devotion 24/7, but the truth is, my family life is the heartbeat of everything I do. Homeschooling my kids and curating a strong, supportive family structure has taught me more about intuition, patience, and sacred leadership than any certification ever could. It’s where I practice what I teach—every day, in real-time.
I think what surprises people most is that the spiritual, healing work I share publicly is deeply intertwined with my personal life. My home is my first sacred space. I didn’t build my business from a place of perfection or constant peace—I built it while making meals, navigating sibling squabbles, teaching lessons, and carving out quiet moments in the middle of busy days.
And that’s what I love sharing with others: that it’s possible to live a deeply aligned, soul-led life without having to escape your reality. You can build, heal, and grow right where you are—with your family, your responsibilities, and your roots.
