Hi Laquita, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Laquita Turner and I am a Braider .after losing my home I became homeless for over a year.I had to sleep in cars and Hotels but I was determined to keep going for the sake of my children.I did hair in Community Parks until I was able to save up enough money.but I didn’t give up my only Talent was Braiding.I was accepted into a shelter and I started Traveling to clients for hair services.i didn’t give up now I am no longer homeless and I am back doing what I love to do which is doing hair.and I can’t Thank God Enough
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Homelessness.i slept in my car with 3 kids then I lived in a hotel for 7 months. I Doordashed night and Day to survive .I lost everything no Family I was on my Own but I did not give up . experiencing a year of Homelesness taught me a lot

I am a Braider located in Kissimmee/Orlando area and I specialize in Boxbraids /Crotchet/Knotless / Softlocs and more
