Hi Lissette, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hello, my name is Lissette Gonzalez, and I’ve been an esthetician for 18 years. I graduated in the Dominican Republic, and seven years ago I came to the United States and started this beautiful beauty journey from scratch. I traveled from Altamonte Springs to Clermont to study and began with no clients but with a lot of faith. Through the pandemic, I also studied phlebotomy and offered two-for-one specials, which allowed me to gain more clients because I always added extra attention and excellence, even at affordable prices. Then I saw the need to expand my space because I enjoy sharing my knowledge with my clients, and I went from a 10×10 foot suite to a 1,000-square-foot location. Currently, I give other beauty professionals the opportunity to develop their businesses within my new location in Longwood. We currently host a monthly afternoon tea for clients to teach them techniques for comprehensive beauty care. I feel grateful for every open door and how God has sustained my family and me through this growth process. I know the best is yet to come.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has brought many challenges and moments of uncertainty, but I have always looked for the positive in every situation and try to keep educating myself to have options for the next step.
We’ve been impressed with Evolution Face And Body LLC , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a beauty business that offers integrated facial and body care. We are known for our personalized, respectful, and caring service, delivered with excellence. We support our clients in their entrepreneurial endeavors by referring them to other clients, and simply listening to them over a cup of coffee or tea makes them feel special.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I’m sure the beauty industry is transcending into inner beauty, and that we’ll soon need coaches to follow up on both the internal and external aspects.
