Today we’d like to introduce you to Love Bella X.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I actually started making candles as a hobby to use up the extra time I had due to the pandemic. I didn’t think I would be where I am at with Love Bella Spa now. My closest friend at the time came by and just started building up a spreadsheet and I was eventually taught the back-office basics of bookkeeping and inventory. Eventually, while researching different things to better my product, I realized certain red flags we miss with our favorite candles. I never realized how toxic a store-bought candle can be until now.
So, that motivated me to use natural and safer ingredients for my candles, which will eventually be products. Now, I won’t lie, there have been some obstacles along the way but I am still a lot further than where I thought I would’ve been right now. I have learned things I didn’t even know about and I can’t wait to follow through with some of the other projects and products I have planned to be released. I am excited for this journey that I decide to continue on each day and can’t wait to see where we will be. But for now, I am enjoying the journey.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. Of course, for everyone, the pandemic has affected a lot of us mentally and/or financially. With all the ups and downs, there has been a lot of discouragement and hopelessness. But I continued to tell myself that my purpose lives through my resilience. I found different ways to refresh the encouragement and to keep myself excited and eventually, things worked out each and every time!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Love Bella Spa offers hand-poured aromatherapy candles. These candles are vegan, natural, non-toxic, made with a soy/coconut wax blend and essential oils. With that being said, these candles have scents with purpose, scents for the soul. These candles are a healthier and safer alternative to the typical store-bought candles.
What matters most to you? Why?
It is extremely important for me to create products that have a purpose and that helps enhance a relaxing experience. Every day we go through a struggle and we steadily worry about what is the next thing we have to do. Sometimes, it’s just nice to know that you can get home, light up a candle and run your shower or bath water to exhale the stress of the day.
