Today we’d like to introduce you to Mariia Tanitsoi.
Hi Mariia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
When I was 8 years old, I started doing acrobatics. It became the love of my life. Since the age of 15, I have been working, traveling to different countries, and performing. I never sit still; I develop my skills and learn new things. I am very goal-oriented and therefore achieve what I want.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
There are always ups and downs. There were cases after which I wanted to quit everything. I had many different sports injuries because of one of them, I even stopped my career for a while. But I love what I do too much, and it made me come back.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an acrobat, and I am proud of it. I love to perform, I love this standing ovation after my entry; it makes me feel special, talented. I’ve had a hard road. Big sport is always hard mentally and physically. But when you go to your dream, you can overcome everything.
I also love to fly. I mean aerial acts, it’s so beautiful and exciting. I’m proud that I learned it and I’m still learning and I’m very good at it.
But I can also say with confidence that I can do everything. I do acrobatics, aerial acts, canes act, dance, swing pole, etc.
I think this is my superpower, I’m not penetrable
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
It’s foolish to rely on luck. Everything comes with hard work, but thanks to this, dreams come true.
