Meet Markisha Williams of Savvy Ink Notary

Today we’d like to introduce you to Markisha Williams.

Hi Markisha, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m an Orlando native, born and raised, and positive community impact has always been my passion. As a mother of four and a proud grandmother, my “why” is about creating a lasting legacy—leaving behind wealth education, wealth freedom, and opportunities for my children and future generations.

My entrepreneurial journey began with co-owning my tax business. I originally became a notary to add an extra layer of service for my tax clients, but I quickly realized there was a much greater need in my community. Many families didn’t have easy access to reliable notary services or fully understand the importance of documents like wills, powers of attorney, and estate planning paperwork. That realization is what inspired me to launch Savvy Ink Mobile Notary.

Today, I’ve expanded my services to include real estate signings, estate signings, and more. Whether I’m helping a family close on their dream home or walking someone through notarizing essential life documents, I see my role as more than just stamping a page—it’s about bringing peace of mind and access to people in moments that matter most.

Savvy Ink has become not only a business but also a vehicle for impact in my community, especially here in the West Lakes area. I stay actively involved in the local schools and initiatives because I believe the more informed and empowered we are, the stronger our neighborhoods become. Every signing, every client, every family I serve is part of a bigger mission: building trust and creating lasting change right here at home.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of my biggest challenges has been education—getting people to truly understand the importance of notarial services and estate planning documents. In many families, especially underserved ones, these conversations don’t happen often enough. Families may not realize the impact that missing or incomplete documents can have until it’s too late.

Breaking through that barrier has been difficult, but it’s also become part of my mission. I don’t just want to provide a service; I want to raise awareness. Whether it’s through conversations with clients, community events, or just being present as a resource, I’m working to change that mindset and show people why these steps are so critical for protecting themselves and their loved ones.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Savvy Ink Mobile Notary provides professional notary and loan signing services throughout Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. I handle everything from real estate closings—like refinances, buyer and seller packages—to general notary work such as wills, trusts, affidavits, and powers of attorney. My business is built on reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to make the process smooth and stress-free for every client.

What makes Savvy Ink unique is the focus on accessibility. I travel directly to clients, saving them time and providing convenience without sacrificing accuracy or confidentiality. I’m especially proud of the trust I’ve built with individuals and families who rely on me for critical paperwork. At its core, Savvy Ink is about making notary services approachable, dependable, and available when people need them most.

How do you think about luck?
I don’t really think of my journey in terms of luck—good or bad. For me, it’s been more about preparation, persistence, and faith. Opportunities have come my way because I was willing to put in the work, learn as I go, and stay committed even when things were slow or challenging.

That being said, I do believe timing plays a big role. Being in the right place at the right moment, meeting the right person, or saying “yes” to something that stretched me has opened doors I couldn’t have imagined. I wouldn’t call it luck, but I would say it’s a mix of hard work, faith, and being open to the opportunities placed in front of me.
