Hi Melody, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
With over 16 years in hospitality, I’ve worked every role, from chef to general manager, gaining expertise in both casual and fine dining. My experience managing large-scale events, some with with over 220,000 attendees, taught me the importance of logistics, staffing, and seamless service.
During the pandemic, I embraced entrepreneurship, launching a catering company and a virtual dance studio, which paved the way for Allegro Events. Today, my team and I deliver elegant, high-energy staffing solutions that make every event unforgettable.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing worth doing is easy. I think the biggest struggle for any entrepreneur begins with the decision to start. The first obstacles to overcome are the ones we set for ourselves. We have start by switching our mindsets to view challenges as opportunities and really lean into each opportunity to get better and continue learning each step of the way.
Industry specific- we’re in the people business and dealing with people can be challenging at times! It takes a lot of patience, understanding and the ability to listen to the unique needs of each individual, both from a client and an employee perspective. Finding the right people is key to the success of any business.

Covid taught us not to be complacent. Change is inevitable and if we don’t initiate the change–life does it for us. Its all about how we respond to those changes that make the biggest impact. “When life gives you lemons…” what are you going to do about it?
