Hi Micaela, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my pastry business when I was pregnant with my twins, which is why it has the same name as them. They were the ones who motivated me to turn a childhood passion into a business, so I could spend quality time with them while creating cakes for events, birthdays, weddings, and more.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As I mentioned earlier, I’m a mother of twins, and as you can imagine, raising them while running a business is a challenge. There have been times when I’ve started making a cake at 10 p.m. and finished in the early morning hours, but thanks to their sacrifices, I have come a long way.

My business is known for personalized cakes for events, created with the intention of making each moment special and unique. I also stand out for the flavor of my cakes, as I offer a wide variety of flavors. My cookies are also famous because they are filled and very eye-catching. I offer a variety of desserts for sale, such as tres leches, flans, customized desserts, and cheesecake. I truly enjoy creating all kinds of treats, but cookies and cakes are the most popular.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
The advice I would like to give is to have a clear goal, because that way you can define your objectives and have a clearer path. Stay organized and learn what is necessary to stand out, so you can offer a quality service
