Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Conde
Hi Natalie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hey there! My name is Natalie, and I am the C.E.O. of Muscle Blondie Personal Training.
My journey began in 2019, when I resolved to take control of my life. Having grown up in an unhealthy environment I had struggled with obesity, I faced frequent migraines, heart palpitations, low energy levels, and overall dissatisfaction with my daily life. At the age of 22, I was prescribed blood pressure medication. Concerned about the long-term effects of this medication, I was determined to lower my blood pressure through natural means.
Consulting with my doctors, it became evident that reducing body fat was essential. I embarked on extensive research into nutrition, diets, workouts, and the workings of the human body. The onset of the pandemic provided an opportunity to accelerate my weight loss journey while confined at home. I progressively built my strength and endurance by following YouTube workout videos in my apartment. Upon the reopening of gyms, I began training with a personal trainer at The Edge Fitness in Christiana, DE. Attending numerous HIIT classes, I developed a passion for strength training, thanks to the guidance of Mark Ripley. In my first year, I lost over 30 pounds.
After six months of consistent effort, I relocated to Florida, where I further nurtured my passion for strength training. Immersing myself in gym routines, I aspired to train like the bodybuilders I followed on social media. Encouraged by a gym employee, I pursued certification as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. During this period, I achieved an additional 30-pound weight loss and secured a position at Crunch in Kissimmee, my first corporate gym.
At Crunch, I met some incredible individuals and quickly felt a sense of belonging. My initial year involved training clients with diverse body types and goals while learning to accomodate for every limitation. My interest in athletic training grew after meeting Warlin Nival (also known as Blue), a renowned strength and conditioning coach specializing in baseball. Inspired by his dedication to developing young athletes, I committed to deepening my knowledge in athletic training.
Motivated by my combined experiences, I decided to compete in my first bodybuilding show, participating as a Figure competitor in April 2024. Following the competition, I launched Muscle Blondie Personal Training, offering online coaching services. The positive impact of my preparation and competition experience on my clients prompted me to extend my assistance globally.
To date, I have guided hundreds of men and women in their fitness journeys, whether they aim to reduce body fat, build muscle, or enhance overall well-being.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey I have undertaken has been far from smooth. One significant challenge has been navigating the influence of social media on the fitness industry. The abundance of misleading information made it difficult to discern effective practices. As a coach, my aim is to distill my years of trial and error into actionable knowledge and tools that will enable my clients to achieve success.
Embarking on a new career path presented its own set of challenges. In the early stages of my career as an in-person coach, building a clientele was particularly demanding. The work involves not only addressing the physical aspects of fitness but also engaging with the psychological dimensions of health. Convincing individuals of the importance of prioritizing their well-being required substantial effort.
Transitioning to online coaching introduced additional complexities. Establishing a meaningful connection with clients through a screen posed a unique challenge, one that required innovative approaches to overcome effectively.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
As a child, I was almost the complete opposite of who I am today. I was very introverted and shy, often found with my head in a book or a paint brush in my hand. I aspired to travel the world and visit every art gallery and library I could find. Although I did not participate in sports, I was always fascinated by dance and figure skating for their expressive qualities. Little Natalie would be very surprised with where her life ended up.
