Meet Nate the Jeweler

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nate the Jeweler.

Nathaniel Moreland

Hi Nathaniel, We’re thrilled to have a chance to hear your story today. Before we get into specifics, could you briefly describe how you got to where you are today?
My journey into becoming a Jeweler took passion and dedication. I never knew that life would bring me into creating many masterpieces and bringing people’s ideas to life. I started my journey in 2016 when Grillz was extremely popular, and I started working for Johnny Dang and Co., making Grillz. As I advanced, I got a mentorship in Florida at the Oakland Park flea market and became even better in my craft.to further my knowledge and gain experience, I signed up for a more formal training program at New Approach School for Jewelers and opened up my store, AGC Jewelers, a brick store where we cast jewelry and 3d print, do repairs, and much more.

Has it been a smooth road, and what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not getting the correct information or guidance has been an issue, as I’m a first-generation jeweler with no prior experience other than my own will to learn and want more. Don’t quit to anyone interested: read, study, and make your trials.

Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in creating one-of-a-kind designs and diamond-setting 3d jewelry.

It is often partly due to others that we are where we are. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I’ve been at it alone, with no supporters.
