Today we’d like to introduce you to Nazareth Suedegod. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Nazareth is from Baltimore Maryland and started making rap music his senior year of high school. After high school, he spent a year making videos and released a Mixtape under the name Nazareth Suedegod.
Later, he moved to Orlando Florida, and released his “Life is Fun” EP. Pioneering his animated Hip-hop & Pop sounds all while gathering a song fanbase in Central Florida.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As a child, Nazareth has been involved in a lot of past trauma. From witnessing shootouts to having guns held to his face point-blank in Elementary school, Nazareth started struggling with PTSD at a very young age. Making music soon became his outlet and personal therapy sessions.
His family also encouraged strong faith and his dedication to God become a staple in many of his songs. Exploring the duality of man, good and bad is a recurring theme in his music because of these experiences.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Nazareth is known for his extremely animated rap bars and emotion. Most of his hits are pop-infused songs flooded with crips vocals and controversial storytelling. With heartbreak being the main theme throughout most of his music, many fans of all ages can relate to his music.
The main thing missing in mainstream music is creativity, Nazareth embodies this as he encourages people to be themselves.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
The future of music will most likely follow the same trends we are seeing in modern technology. It will be incredibly social similar to social media, it will become increasingly computer-based and A.I.
Until music starts to lose its authenticity due to everybody trying to appeal to a large audience with catchy hooks and jingles. Music will become cold and almost inhumane. This will start a creative revolution, bringing back more raw vocals, real instruments, concept albums, and themes.
