My name is Norma Torres with more than 17 years of experience in residential real estate in Miami and throughout Florida. I enjoy advising clients and providing them with options more suited to their needs to close satisfactory sales. I started in the property field as a loan officer for two years before obtaining my real estate agent license. This trajectory has allowed me to advise and evaluate my clients in their purchase decision. Skills such as application and software management will enable me to achieve excellent negotiation, sales, and customer service skills, as well as constant training, training, and search for new projects for investments in the USA and abroad. My experience has allowed me to train new agents who have started this real estate path, which gives me great satisfaction. I am fluent in Spanish and English. Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The real estate industry is reeling on all sides. Environmental change, shifting political climates, volatile markets, rising mortgage rates, and evolving technology trends are some real estate challenges. The hardest time for me was during the market crash from 2006 to 2010; we had moved with my husband and my 3 daughters to West Florida, they were tough years, but I never gave up. In 2010 we returned to Miami, and the market was leveling little, so I have remained until now.
