Today we’d like to introduce you to Omari Daniel.
Hi Omari, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Omari Daniel, and I’m 25 years old. I actually started photography in January of 2024, but had a little background in creativity before then. When I was young I had an idea to create an Entertainment company where I could do everything I ever loved, and to this day, all I have been doing is fulfilling my dream.
Everything started off with my love for music, I started teaching myself how to do everything because I wanted to be a boss unlike every boss I’ve had where I could have an input that actually mattered. After getting so deep into music, I found myself wanting to shoot music videos and I bought a camera. From there, I fell in love with anything that has to do with photography and videography and hope to grow into a blossoming business.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There were many challenges that I came across growing up. The main issue was that I was the smart kid in class, I was taught to be an overachiever by my parents, but other kids did not like that. But I continued being myself and pursing greatness, even while there were others that didn’t like it. I use this lesson now for almost everything in my life because the ones who make it are the ones who put in the work, and I do a lot of that!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
All of my work comes from my heart. I strive to be the best at everything I do. Some of the things that I have strived to become is a Producer, an Artist, an Audio Engineer, Photographer, Videographer, Editor, and many more titles. I’m proud of being able to showcase those skills that I’ve been working on for so many years. Honestly, it’s hard to stand out in a sea of influencers, but I believe that my ideas are fresh and new. Only more to come.
Any big plans?
My big plans involve my five and 10 year goals. My biggest plan was to have a successful running photography business, And make a lot of money doing it! But really, my biggest plan is to just get acknowledged for the work that I’ve done and have it open doors for me so that I can continue being great and successful.
