Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
They say that before you learn to walk, you dance; before you learn to talk, you sing; before you write, you draw. Art was my first love of drawing. My first set of water paints led to acrylic painting in high school, which eventually led to photography (which means painting with light). My love for art was channeled into my wellness practice as I created unique therapeutic massage sessions to meet the needs of my clients.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, has it been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Despite the challenges, including a divorce and the responsibility of caring for three young children, I persevered. This journey of self-awareness and strength has been instrumental in shaping my current path.
Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
As a Florida-licensed massage Therapist (MA75341), I’ve been in practice since 2014 and in business since 2020. My specialties are unique pain relief techniques, each tailored to the individual. I’ve built a brand based on delivering results rather than techniques. In addition to my services, I’m dedicated to creating a wellness community to promote holistic wellness at its root.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Starting my practice during a global pandemic and all the uncertainty that came with it was a risk. After choosing to get a divorce and starting with little to nothing, my decision to take this leap of faith was easy in comparison.
