Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We are Maria Belen and Cristobal, and we were born and raised in Argentina until 2021. We are from the same city as Lionel Messi, Rosario. We met when we were 20 and 21 years old, studying at university and living close by. We started dating and our shared passion for traveling became a cornerstone of our relationship. We began exploring our own country before venturing out to other countries in South and Central America, and eventually, around the world. Our travels taught us a lot, and we always dreamt of living abroad.
We fell in love with the United States for its culture, laws, and infrastructure. Cristobal has worked in the real estate industry for a long time and loves his profession. When we decided to emigrate, he knew he wanted to continue in the same field, so he acquired a vacation property management company. Maria Belen earned her degree in human resources and enjoys working with people. She decided to join her husband in the tourism industry and provide an additional service offering to their management company.
With a lot of sacrifices and hard work, we have grown our business each day. Our dedication, honesty, and willingness to serve our clients have been the cornerstone of our success.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has not been easy at all. Before immigrating, we had some important losses in our family, which brought a lot of pain and led us to the path of immigration. After years of trying, we had our first rainbow baby Isabella, and with her, the joy returned to our home. During the pandemic, we had the necessary time to decide to leave and organized everything to make it happen in the best way possible. But immigrating is not for everyone; it is a big emotional and physical challenge.
Leaving everything known behind – our families, friends, social life, and home – was very hard. Arriving in a new country with a different language, laws, customs, and way of living involved such a big change that it threw us all off balance.
Adapting was and still is a constant challenge; taking the reins of a new company with all that it entails is an adventure we never imagined, but we put all our heart, wisdom, and experience into it so that today it is the company it is – we are proud of our work and of seeing it grow day by day. The recognition of our customers and the people around us gives us the strength to keep moving forward. We miss our homeland, but we are very happy with everything we are building here.
