Today we’d like to introduce you to Porcha Reed.
Porcha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always loved doing nails and has always made me happy so the fact that now doing nails makes other people happy brings joy to me my name is Porcha Reed and a lot of people know me as Queenofbling. Not only is doing nails a passion but also teaching. Helping other women discover something that they have a passion for give me a thrill, leaving his legacy behind give me the drive that I have to pursue other things in this industry. In my 14 years of doing nails, I’ve opened three nail salons and one school I’ve traveled everywhere and done multiple people as well as celebrities. Orlando is my hometown born and raised and I’ve been doing nails here my entire life. I’ve also done nails in Miami and now I am trying to do nails in Atlanta Georgia. As my career takes me around the world all I pray is that I motivate, encourage, inspire other women to be as great or greater than me!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being popular is a struggle all the time it is never a smooth road but it is one ride that I really enjoy. It’s a struggle every day being an entrepreneur dealing with different personalities and different obstacles along the way but as you overcome these obstacles it makes you stronger and it makes you more mature as a person. I love being in the service industry and I love being a people person. So I must say the struggles of being a Nail Tech has done nothing but made me stronger. I welcome the struggle!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As a NailTech, I specialize in acrylics enhancement of the nails on your hands I also specialize in applying crystals to your fingernails, which is why I am known as queen of bling. The thing that I am most proud of would be that my crystals will last 4 to 5 weeks sometimes even six weeks. I’m also known for being pretty pricey but for the quality that I give I feel like I am worth it. Whether you book me for an anniversary, wedding, birthday, vacation baby, I’m worth it!!
What matters most to you?
The two things that matter to most to me one would be my daughter she motivates me every day to get up and get to the money. Second would be the legacy that I’m leaving behind, I will want to be known for always encouraging other women and making them feel beautiful. Also, I would love to have a legacy that my daughter would be proud of.
