Today we’d like to introduce you to Rhonda Fisher. She shares her story with us below:
Rhonda Fisher began her career in the real estate industry in 1996 as a call coordinator. A position now obsolete due to technological advances but there was a time when folks had to call a sign to learn about a home’s detail or property information. Decade’s later in the Real Estate industry, Rhonda’s commitment to excellence and personal service have made her one of the most highly regarded Realtors and Brokers in Central Florida. A two-time recipient of the “Best of Seminole” awards her passion for real estate and her desire to mentor agents led her to obtain her license as a Florida Real Estate Instructor. As a participant in several educational programs and many certifications such as the Gold Key Certification, she stays up to date on the most current industry standards and best practices. She passes this extensive knowledge on to her agents. When she is not mentoring agents or meeting with clients, Rhonda spends time enjoying life. She is an avid foodie and supports local restaurants. Rhonda has been tap dancing for years and has joined local dance troupes. She and her husband are jet setters and have traveled all around the world. But her home is her sanctuary where she enjoys a glass of wine by the pool or reading a good book. In addition to two accomplished daughters, she has two fur-children, her dogs, Scrappy and Dasher.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has definitely not been smooth. After being in business for five years, the time seemed just right to expand and in February of 2020, the business moved from its Lake Mary location to the heart of downtown Sanford. It would be an understatement to say that less than a few short weeks of expanding, in March of 2020, the entire world as we knew it shut down due to the pandemic known as Covid-19. The pandemic completely made us re-examine every part of our business model. Seasoned real estate professionals understand our business is cyclic and retooling is a normal, natural part of the industry but Covid-19 was all together an entirely different beast.

Happy, adventurous, unafraid, and according to my parents, I started walking at nine months and never looked back!
