Meet Rocco Andrianopoulos of Mobile, Alabama

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rocco Andrianopoulos.

Hi Rocco, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am an 18 year old high school graduate from Mobile, Alabama. Me and my good friend Tristan have always liked cars, and whenever we hang out we always find people on the road with fast cars and get them to rev their engines. We had been doing this for a few months and at some point we realized that we aren’t the only ones who like cars and that we should probably be recording our sightings. Then, in November of 2024 Tristan created the MobileKittyCatchers account on Instagram. I’ve been uploading one video every single day since then and have had multiple videos go viral in that time. I do all of my editing on my phone with an editing software that is free in the app store. So if you have a passion and you want to share it, don’t wait for the right time or until you have the equipment. Just do it.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was a little harder in the beginning because nobody in my city knew who I was. It is much harder to get someone to do a pull (accelerate really fast) for you when they are a complete stranger versus when they already follow me. It is also a struggle and a blessing that I drive my 2004 Honda Accord. I love my car to death but when you’re trying to catch someone going 80mph and you have to go faster than they are, it gets a little sketchy in a car that old. I also don’t have very many peers who make the same kind of content that I do, and that makes it hard for me to look for guidance or ideas for my content.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are a local car spotting group in Mobile, Alabama. We ride up on anyone with a nice or fast car and we try to get clips of their cars to post on our social media accounts. We are now to the point that we are able to do viewer meetups and record rollers of our followers to post as well. We have become pretty well known around the city and have been posted on accounts like Mobileworldstar251 cementing us as a prominent figure in the car community in Mobile, AL. We are very thankful to anyone that has followed and supported us along the way, and we don’t say it enough but you all are the reason that we enjoy content creation.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Mobilekittycatchers is owned by me Rocco Andrianopoulos, and my good friend Tristan Earp.
