Meet Samantha Scott of The Dolls Playground & White Heart Productions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Scott.

Hi Samantha, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Greetings, I am Samantha Scott on social media I am also known as “Florida Doll” I was born in Tampa, Fl but I grew up In Lakeland, Fl I am currently a rising junior at the great Bethune Cookman- University majoring in Mass Communications with an emphasis in public relations ever since I was 15 years young, I’ve always had a passion for making my own money. In high school, I learned how to do photography and eventually charged my fellow classmates for pictures. Around my high school years on social media, I would go viral from the different outfits I’d put together for activities like homecoming or prom. This influenced me to start a clothing brand but I’ve always had the plan to start but never had the platform until my freshman year in college. I surrounded myself around so many phenomenal individuals that encourage me to go through with it. I took all of the knowledge that I gained during my first semester in college then I eventually launched “The Dolls Playground” on January, 1st 2020, and shortly after launched a party entertainment service with my business partner Tavon Morgan titled “White Heart Productions” My entrepreneurial mindset brought me this far.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road although these businesses are some of the best things that have happened to me becoming an entrepreneur is not an easy route. One of the struggles I face still to this day is being discouraged. Any business you start will not skyrocket and become a seven-figure business overnight. There might be some days when I don’t have the energy or the knowledge to keep going. That doesn’t stop me from doing the best I can to make sure my business keeps running and advancing.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am also a YouTuber and I try to display videos that can cater to incoming freshmen to Bethune Cookman-University or anyone that attends college or thinking about attending college.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Two of the people that I admire the most that played a big role in my success so far in life are my father Samuel Scott and my best friend, Sanii Duffey. My father encourages me so much to do the best I can and he supports me with anything I decide to do. His love will always outmatch what money can provide me. My bestie Sanii is such an amazing person whose light fills the room even when your day is gloomy. She is also an entrepreneur and I feel as though it is vital to surround yourself around others who have the same intentions and goals you have in life.
