When my husband Roger opened his construction company in Orlando, FL and showed his abilities has a contemporary architect, I started working was an interior designer and I focused in signature approach to integrating natural elements and the surrounding environment, I decided to do my master’s course in Methodology of environmental education at UGF University. But after all those years now, I’m focused on spent more time doing my passion Art, I just finished my Art Therapy Certificate this year. As an artist, my focus is acrylic abstract painting and portraiture. I’m delighted to dedicate my artistic name: Radafe in honor of my three beautiful children: Rafael, Deniel and Filipe.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not easy for sure! Of course, I wanted to show my work, so I opened a little store on Artegon Marketplace on 2016, hope that people get to know more about my work, unfortunately Artegon closed months later and I take a big step back… I feel so sorry, and I can not afford to open my store in another place, so I started work on my home studio: Radafe Studio

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a DECONSTRUCTED REALISM’ PORTRAIT, work with mechanical pencil, but most of my work is acrylic on paper and canvas, I am proud of how fast I developed my skills, and how I feel when I am painting someone … Now I’m happy to start to do Art class for who wants to develop art skills or for those who want to feel better with himself.

What makes you happy?
Family, friends make me happy! Also, When people recognize my work, I feel realized.
