Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian and Stephanie Elias.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We are Brian and Stephanie, a married couple living in the central Florida area. We first got started doing dining reviews in our local area at the time (Mount Dora) on whim during the pandemic beginning in August of 2020 as we were searching for a hobby that we could get out of the house and enjoy doing together. We started posting our videos on YouTube and have branched out to doing not only dining reviews, but cooking videos as well. We have taken it even further now doing dining reviews around the country when we travel (we have done North Carolina and California reviews) and recently even took our channel to Europe exploring Portugal and all of the delicious dishes they have to offer. We post one new dining review and one cooking video every week on YouTube and on NewsBreak. We truly enjoy the video making process as well as the social media side incorporating photos of our adventures on Instagram.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been so smooth. Stephanie works a full-time regular job in the insurance industry and Brian is a real estate broker. Learning to juggle the time that it takes to create, edit and promote our channel has been a true balancing act. While we are semi-tech savvy, learning to edit the videos to make them both entertaining and informative as well as visually appealing has been a challenge. We learn something new every time we film or edit!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We specialize in doing dining reviews and cooking videos. We mostly do our dining reviews in the central Florida area, but we have done some travelling and always take our camera with us. We are most proud of our continued growth, persistence and dedication to the channel. People watching a 15 minute video on YouTube don’t realize how much work actually goes in to making the video and promoting it! We think what sets us apart from other creators is that we try to be as honest as possible (our channel is called No B.S. Eateries so we try to live up to the name). Brian likes to say Stephanie’s face says it all when it comes to liking something. We also love to show our banter and make it fun for everyone to watch along with us!
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
We truly love our supporters and we wouldn’t continue to do these videos if we didn’t have a great encouragement from our subscribers and followers!
