Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Pineda.
Hi Stephanie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
At just 14 years old I became a mother, an experience that shifted my world and gave me a powerful reason to rise. With no formal training I began teaching myself accounting and finance, fueled by the belief that I could create a better life. By 19 I purchased my first two family home, setting the foundation for what would become a lifelong journey in entrepreneurship.
I continued to self educate, mastering the language of money and business, eventually building multiple successful companies including a trucking business and a thriving accounting and tax firm. Along the way I found love and partnership in my husband, and together we’ve worked side by side to build a legacy rooted in faith, family, and financial freedom.
But my journey hasn’t been without heartbreak. I experienced the unimaginable loss of my daughter at just 18 years old. That pain could have broken me, but instead it became the fire behind my mission. I now help others navigate their grief while building purpose filled businesses. I show entrepreneurs, especially women, that it’s possible to rise through tragedy, turn pain into power, and build something beautiful out of the broken pieces.
Through my work as an Enrolled Agent, educator, speaker, and coach, I’ve helped countless individuals grow their income, structure their businesses, and create financial systems that sustain generational wealth. I built the House of Financial Freedom (HOFF) as a collaborative space for financial specialists to connect, serve, and thrive.
This journey from teen mom to tax strategist, from broken to bold, is proof that no matter where you start, your story can be rewritten. And I’m here to help others do the same.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not. The road has been anything but smooth, but every bump taught me something. Becoming a mom at 14 came with judgment, pressure, and a fast track to adult responsibilities. I had to grow up quickly and figure things out on my own. There were times I didn’t know how I’d make ends meet, but I stayed committed to learning and building a better life.
Starting a business with no mentors, no funding, and no safety net was tough. I faced setbacks, financial mistakes, and seasons where I had to reinvent everything. And just when things were finally thriving, life hit me with the hardest blow—losing my daughter at 18. That kind of grief is paralyzing. I had to learn how to breathe again, let alone lead a business.
But I didn’t quit. I allowed myself space to feel, but I never let the pain keep me stuck. I channeled my grief into purpose. I built while healing. I served others even when I was hurting. That’s the kind of strength this journey required. It wasn’t smooth, but it was necessary. Every struggle shaped the woman, the mother, and the business leader I am today.

I get in the trenches with my clients, helping them structure their businesses correctly, maximize tax savings, and build sustainable financial systems. I’m known for making complex strategies simple, relatable, and actionable, especially for those who’ve been overlooked or underserved by traditional financial professionals.
I also created the House of Financial Freedom (HOFF), a collaborative space for financial specialists to work together, refer clients, and empower communities through education and resources. What I’m most proud of is that my brand is deeply rooted in purpose. I’m not just here to run numbers, I’m here to change lives. Every service I offer is designed to educate, elevate, and equip people to build wealth with intention. I want readers to know that financial freedom is possible, and they don’t have to do it alone. I’m proof of that, and now I help others become proof too.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Resilience without a doubt!
Resilience has allowed me to turn pain into purpose, losses into lessons, and setbacks into setups. It’s what keeps me grounded when things go wrong and what gives me the courage to dream bigger even after life knocks me down.
Yes, I have the knowledge, the strategy, and the work ethic but it’s my resilience that gave all of those things a chance to shine. It’s the core of who I am and the reason I continue to rise, build, and help others do the same.
