Hi Suzanne, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Suzanne Wallis and I am a Nurse Practitioner serving central FL for 14 + years. I am now an autonomous NP and have my own office in Winter Garden as primary care provider serving pediatric and adult patients as primary care for self pay patients with a specialty in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for women and men as well as weight loss with GLP-1 medications. My new medical office is called Encore Family Heath Care, located at 113 South Dillard St. Winter Garden 34787
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There are many obstacles when owning your own business especially in the medical field. I am trying to continue getting a paycheck and working for my employer until I can build up enough of my own clients, as well as work and promote my business at the same time, as well as raise my 2 boys with all their many activities, as well as teaching dance classes a few days a week.

Due to the increasing health insurances rates for the working class, it seems unattainable to have high monthly health insurance rates where nothing is covered with high deductibles. I offer same day/same week appointments, no wait times, longer visits where I get to know the patients, and they only see 1 provider instead of rotating providers and a different person each time.
