Meet Georgenie and Danielle Lundi of Sweet Essence Bakery

Today we’d like to introduce you to Georgenie and Danielle Lundi. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Georgenie Lundi and her sister-in-law Danielle Lundi both have a passion for baking. In 2019, they decided to go into business together, and that’s when Sweet Essence Bakery was born. We provide custom cakes, cupcakes and so much more.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been easy. There were times when we would have no customers and sometimes when we had a few. But over time we continued to keep our faith and practice our skills, even when we didn’t get any orders!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Georgenie Lundi specializes in baking treats and is best known for her chocolate-covered strawberries. She is most proud of her son Christian Lundi and what sets her apart from others is being able to be optimistic about learning her crafts

Danielle Lundi specializes in baking treats and is best known for her red velvet cakes. She is most proud of her daughter Janelle Lundi and her husband Jamie Lundi. What sets her apart is her willingness to succeed and perfect her craft the least thing we love.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What we like best about our city is the diversity of people and the family-oriented places that surround us. The last thing we like about our city is the lack of exposure for some small businesses.

Pricing:

  • Basic Cakes start at $65
  • Custom Cakes $85
  • Specialty Cakes starting at $120
