Today we’d like to introduce you to Tamara Sucko
Hi TAMARA, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Since I was little, I’ve always been fascinated by Architecture. It still amazes me how something you can draw on paper can become a reality. I see myself as a naturally curious person, which is why I’ve studied so many different things throughout my life—from holistic therapies to Architecture and Ontological Coaching. For over 15 years, I’ve been helping families create their homes, and I’ve now built over 400 houses.
Being able to observe the design process of these families has taught me that the spaces we live in truly impact our behavior. If our home is full of clutter, extremely disorganized, or not well designed with proper lighting and ventilation, it’s bound to make us feel stressed, exhausted, frustrated, and sad. That’s why I started studying neuroarchitecture, color psychology, and ontological coaching, integrating these into how I approach each of my projects.
In 2022, I decided to expand my horizons and look for business opportunities abroad, and Orlando seemed like the perfect place to make it happen.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There’s a certain lifestyle that defines my family, and that is entrepreneurship. From my grandparents to today, my family has always been entrepreneurial. This way of life makes me feel free and lets my creativity run wild, though it also comes with the other side—having great responsibility and needing to know a little bit about everything. From understanding how to do marketing, how to sell, how to manage finances, how to be a good leader for your team, and a thousand other things that come up daily.
Some days, making all these decisions is hard, but seeing happy families in their homes makes it all worth it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in designing homes for families. I enjoy getting to know each family, understanding their routine, preferences, and needs. By learning who they are and what they require, I design using techniques from neuroarchitecture, color psychology, and coaching. These are innovative methods that not everyone applies today, but I truly believe they are the future of home design. Our home can change the way we live—we just need to know how to make those changes happen.
On the other hand, from the start of my career, I have worked with advanced technology systems like Steel Frame, an innovative and sustainable method that allows for highly efficient, durable structures. What I love most about architecture, and what makes me proud, are the relationships you build with others—not just with clients, but also with the people who build each home and the suppliers. Without them, without the connections we create, I couldn’t do anything as an architect. I love being part of a profession that values human connection so deeply.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
There have been many mentors and teachers along my journey. As I mentioned before, my family is a great source of support and inspiration for resilience, creativity, courage, and strength. My husband Francisco is my biggest pillar. He’s always by my side, supporting me every step of the way and encouraging me to keep fighting for my dreams and projects. He’s taught me a new way of seeing the world. We’ve traveled everywhere, experiencing different cultures and countries, and that has taught me a lot about society, which I apply to my projects every day.
Having taken countless courses, I’ve crossed paths with incredible people, including teachers who have left a lasting mark on me, like my coaching mentor. Alejandra has been a great guide in my life. She opened the door to new opportunities and new ways of seeing myself, which have helped me become more connected with who I am. Lastly, my friends and fellow entrepreneurs have taught me so much. Walking this path with others, working in community, actively listening and being listened to, is an immense source of knowledge that helps me grow every day.
