Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatianna Joseph.
Hi Tatianna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I saw that I loved making things based on my first business Nina Beana’s Awareness Tutus. Since I wanted to expand but keep my awareness shop just as it is I decided to open up a 2nd business with my friend of many years. She was excellent in making crafts and I do an awesome job making shirts – if I do say so myself :). We decided to combine our love for crafting together and birthed KT Craftz – The Crafting Queens.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Unfortunately, in the beginning, the road wasn’t smooth because COVID hit. We had such great ideas and great plans and then everything was shut down. We couldn’t get supplies and/or vendors for certain things. COVID also hit close to home for us both. We decided to take a break and not launch until this year!

KT Craftz is your one-stop-shop for all things craft related when it comes to women. Our business is made with women in mind whether it be moms, entrepreneurs, or CEOs of a big firm. Lately, we have been known for our HBCU-ish shirts and glass can coffee cups. The coffee comes are a hit! We love custom orders and lately, customers have been putting their own spins on the glass cans. I mean who doesn’t love iced coffee, especially in this Florida heat!
At KT Craftz, we pride ourselves on giving the customers what they want. One customer told us the other day they were so glad she could come to us with her design for her baby shower. She said she didn’t feel small, she felt heard and was happy that we executed her vision to a tee. Not only do we love a good custom, but we also love the customer walking away with a great experience.
