Meet Taylor Clark of MonaiNailedIt and The Monai Way

Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Clark.

Hi Taylor, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Since I was a kid I would always run errands with my grandmother and mother and one of those errands involved the nail salon and I just was always in awe of the designs and the art of nails and over the years I grew a strong liking to always having my nails done and eventually I started getting into doing them myself and my passion grew from there. YouTube was a big factor with helping me perfect my craft and eventually, I went to nail school to get my license and Here I am now a year almost two has past and I’ve loved every second of my nail journey thus far.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth journey I have had issues with clientele and being able to have those returning clients but it hasn’t stopped me from progressing and trying to promote my skills on different social networks and just taking it one day at a time there’s still so much more for me to learn within the industry and I understand it takes time I just have to keep working hard.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about MonaiNailedIt and The Monai Way?
I specialize in all nail care needs involving extension to the nail as well as manicures and pedicures. My specialty are freestyle sets which allows me to be as creative as I want regarding the color, nail shape and design of the nail. I’m really known for being able to recreate nail sets that were done by another nail tech. What sets me apart from other nail techs is my good energy and personality as well as my ability to bring to life whatever my clients wants when it comes to their nails. Brand wise what makes me proud is that I can make my own custom color acrylic powders for any set that a client desires, I make a lot of my acrylics powders by hand and I always make it my business to make a client as comfortable as possible while in my chair. My brand is my name and I take pride in it. It’s my passion to be able to make anyone sit in my chair leave with a smile and a great experience that makes them want to come back again.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
TikTok and Instagram are two big apps that play a big role in me showing my work and gaining clientele it has helped me express my form of art through nails and has made me be able to help anyone or answer any questions anyone has about nail care.
