Meet Telly Howard of Central florida

Today we’d like to introduce you to Telly Howard.

Hi Telly , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
The original concept started out as me wanting to pursue bartending. I took an interest in curated cocktails and visiting different locations around Orlando I believed had some of the best drinks. The best time to try different drinks is during happy hour where most drinks were a fraction of their normal price. After visiting a couple locations I started to document my favorite drinks via social media and friends, family and associates would tune in.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has been up and down at times. I believe it’s easy to get caught up in trends and worry about numbers per post, but something I could always depend on is knowing if I was having a good time in the moment. The most important factor has always been “am I having a good time?” Can I bring a group of friends here after a long work day and just kick back and enjoy the vibe. The energy speaks for itself.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in providing a series of Options that consist of Drinks, Food, and Vibes for all ages and working class people. I’m mostly known for my happy hour options and vibes after five. I’m most proud of just being relatable to my peers and young professionals in the area. The average person doesn’t want to break the bank during the week, but if you provide them with different options to have a good time it changes the playing field and could even change someones day/week. I believe what’s sets me apart from others is the energy. Men lie, women lie, but the energy doesn’t.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Just be yourself and be creative. They’re will always be space in the room for new creative story tellers.
