Meet Tiffany Rufino of The Tiffany Rufino Agency

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Rufino

Hi Tiffany, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
For 25+ years I have worked as a leader in various industries. I found that most roles had to be created for me, due to my creative thinking and thirst to constantly learn and challenge myself. I changed careers in 2011, and had my own leaders (not managers), empower me to make business decisions that were right for my team, my clients and the organization. I found my own style and voice, and wanted to inspire others to do the same. Work didn’t have to be boring. Women are successful leaders with the right encouragement. All the “norms” can be challenged! I grew in the organization into a Corporate Business Development Trainer and worked hard to motivate and inspire others to achieve their greatest opportunities. As my career unfolded, it became clear that my love for empowering others and shaking things up was steering me toward something bigger. So, in 2022, I took the leap and started The Tiffany Rufino Agency. Here, I mix my background in Business and Organizational leadership and industrial/organizational psychology with all those years of leadership experience to offer a unique blend of services. We do everything from executive coaching to change management and strategic planning, all with the goal of helping folks grow both personally and professionally.

One of the coolest parts of this journey has been launching the Women’s V.O.I.C.E.S. program. It’s all about helping women find their voice and confidence in public speaking and leadership roles. Watching participants break through barriers and redefine success is incredibly rewarding.

What I’ve picked up along the way is that real leadership is about empathy, creativity, and having the guts to challenge the norms. It’s about creating a space where people feel valued and can bring their best selves to work every day. This mindset is at the heart of everything we do at my agency, and it keeps me excited to keep learning and growing.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road definitely hasn’t been smooth, but those bumps have shaped who I am today. Growing up, I witnessed resilience and resourcefulness firsthand. My biological father was abusive, and my mom made the brave choice to escape with me. We found ourselves in domestic violence shelters, homeless at times, staying with friends until she met the man I proudly call my Father. Watching her navigate a system that often didn’t favor women, especially in healthcare, taught me the importance of having a strong voice—even when it feels like you’re not being heard.

These lessons stayed with me through my own career shifts and life challenges. After the stock market crash, I lost my job and nearly my home. It was a tough period, but it forced me to sit with myself and find a new direction, one that aligned with my passion: helping people go from great to greater. This journey isn’t just about business success; it’s about building meaningful relationships with patients, clients, customers, and peers.

Every struggle has been a stepping stone, teaching me resilience and the importance of communication. Today, my passion lies in guiding leaders to communicate and collaborate effectively with their teams, ensuring that they’re working together, not against each other.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At The Tiffany Rufino Agency, we’re all about empowering our clients and helping them grow, both in business and personally. We offer a mix of services like public relations, executive coaching, change management, marketing and branding, strategic planning, and HR solutions. What makes us different is the way we blend psychology with business smarts. As a business therapist, I bring a compassionate touch to everything we do, making sure our strategies are tailored to fit each client perfectly.

One of the things I’m super proud of is our Women’s V.O.I.C.E.S. program. It’s all about lifting women up and helping them find their voice in public speaking and leadership roles. We believe in breaking barriers and redefining success for women in business.

Besides our core services, I also love getting out there and delivering keynote speeches to big audiences on topics like leadership, mindset, and team building. It’s a great way to share insights and fire up audiences to reach their full potential.

When it comes to our brand, I’m really proud of our focus on authenticity and empowerment. We know that real change happens when people feel valued and heard, and that’s what we’re all about. Our clients range from startups to big corporations, and we make sure our services fit their unique needs and challenges. We also provide to our communities by donating a percentage of proceeds from the Womens VOICES showcase to Non-profit charities – most recently Domestic Abuse Council in Daytona, the Oopsie Project and S.M.A.R.T. Of Flagler County.

For your readers, I want them to know that The Tiffany Rufino Agency is here to help them achieve their greatest potential. Whether they’re looking for strategic guidance, leadership development, a keynote speaker, or a fresh take on change management, we’re excited to partner with them on their journey to success.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
I learned that life is too short to not live it as you want. I lost my identity working for other businesses for so long. I realized that I had to create space for myself in this world, just like companies had to do for me. My voice had been used on a small scale (radio station, podcasts) and now it was time to challenge people to live their dream, to bring their own magic to the world and to understand that there is no safety in working for another business. They can drop you as quick as they hired you. I haven’t looked back.
