Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Voner.
Hi Tiffany, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I was creating as a hobby and turned my passion into my full-time gig. I did not anticipate this would be my full-time career growing up because I did not focus on my creative side. I have a Master’s in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida. I have previously been published in Corrections Today Magazine for a data analysis report on homeless inmates. I had an 8-5 career that aligned with my degree. However, I did not feel fulfilled in that position. I was also struggling with my anxiety. I prayed for changes in my career field and God answered those prayers for me.
In October, I had to put my dog down and I started crafting more to keep myself busy. Thrift on 46 gave me an opportunity to be a part of their market. Ever since then, I have been a part of various markets in the Central Florida area. Now I traded in my 8-5 position for a 24/7 business that I love and enjoy. At Vonrose, I focus on products that uplift. I focus on mental health and positivity. Whether with a cute design, funny or motivational phrase, or through scripture– I strive to utilize my products to uplift others.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For the most part, everything has fallen into place.
There is a learning curve to being a small business owner because I am responsible for everything and wear many hats in the business such as creating the products and being active on social media. I am currently working on launching our website so that is a challenge.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am known for creating products that uplift. I focus a lot on mental health because I have been that person that struggled alone and I want others to know that they are not alone and they are stronger than whatever they are going through.
I am also known for my cute cup designs. I am a plant person and it shows through my designs. Something that sets Vonrose apart from others is my heart. I think it shows through my products and interactions with my clients. I strive to provide a welcoming and happy atmosphere for all of my markets and through my products.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memories are the moments when I spent quality time with my family.
We often went to the waterfront and would just watch the manatees or feed some ducks. Another moment that comes to mind is when my dad would come into town after being deployed for a lengthy time and would surprise us.
