Meet Tres Loch of Children’s Art Classes Longwood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tres Loch.

Hi Tres, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Tres and Jen are proud owners of Children’s Art Classes in Longwood. They first met in the 7th grade while in school in Seminole County. They were married in 2011 and have called central Florida their home for over 35 years. They have two daughters, Hannah and Emme.

Tres has worked with a variety of organizations, including Fortune 500 companies as well as small and medium sized businesses across several industries, and has worked in education since 2012.

Jen is a marine biologist and spends quite a bit of time diving in the Florida Keys. Along with their two children, Tres and Jen are passionate about providing first-class art education opportunities to children in central Florida.

Tres and Jen were inspired to open their art studio in central Florida after meeting with the founders of the organization at their location in Jacksonville, Florida. Seeing the joy and impact that a high-quality, curriculum based art program has on children led them to open their studio in fall 2025.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting any kind of business is never easy! Finding the right location was paramount. It took some time, but we were thrilled to find our space right on the corner of 434 and Wekiva Springs road in Longwood as its surrounded by great family neighborhoods. The Springs Plaza is certainly a hub of children’s activities- there’s a dance studio, music studio, tutoring center and an ice cream shop! Once we found our location, we put ALOT of work into making the space just how we wanted it, which took quite a bit of time, effort and patience with permitting! When we finally opened our doors and we began to welcome students into our art studio, it was all worth it!

As you know, we’re big fans of Children’s Art Classes Longwood. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
