Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi there! My name is Vanessa. I’m the owner/founder of Vanessa’s Petsitting Services! I started Petsitting in Virginia when I lived there for people in the medical field as I worked in a hospital! Then when I moved back to Orlando in 2018 I started it back up again and got my LLC in 2021! Petsitting has definitely helped me gain relationships with wonderful people (and their cute furbabies) over the years and I’m even more blessed to do this full time! I’m so grateful for all of the fur-ends I’ve gained and wonderful clients I’ve met throughout my time so far as a petsitter!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My Petsitting experience has been smooth for the most part! There are a lot of ups & downs and a lot of learning curve but it makes me more well-rounded and helps me focus on my growth! Some struggles would include anxious pets & critical thinking and problem-solving in the event of an emergency or unexpected event.
We’ve been impressed with Vanessa’s Petsitting Services, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I specialize in dog walking, cat care, & overnight care in the client’s home! What sets me apart from others is my attention to detail and my communication skills! I’m always speaking to my clients making sure I’ve got everything covered! I’m most proud brand wise that I’ve started this completely from scratch! I’m a first time business owner and my goal is to get more attention to the pet/petsitter space!
What’s next?
My plans for the future are to eventually hire staff to be able to cover more areas in Orlando/Central Florida and to also grow my service area!

- $75 overnight (clients home only) ($5 extra per additional pet)
- $20 dogwalking 30 mins (1 dog)
- $25 dogwalking (2 dogs)
- Catsitting ($15 per visit 1 cat $18 for two cats)
