Vida, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Poli Construction was incorporated in 2009 by Pawel and Vida Szatkowski. What began as a small subcontracting and support company for major contractors has grown into a full-scope general contracting firm. Both principals, Pawel and Vida, are licensed general contractors with over 15 years of experience delivering high-quality building solutions throughout Central Florida. Over the years, they have earned the trust of many notable clients.
This husband-and-wife team has transformed Poli Construction into one of the leading commercial construction companies in the Central Florida region. Despite our ability and resources to manage large-scale projects, we remain committed to the mindset and values of a small builder. We believe success is built on strong relationships, transparent communication, and an unwavering dedication to quality.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has not been smooth, and we know we’re not at the end of it yet. We are always evolving, always growing. Understanding that nothing worthwhile comes easy is a part of who we are. As first-generation immigrants, we came here seeking opportunity, fully aware that it would take hard work and perseverance. Through every challenge, we’ve stayed committed to trusting the process and putting in the effort it takes to build something lasting. Our goal is to continue growing Poli Construction into a legacy company that will stand strong for generations to come.
