Meet Yadiel Reyes of Orlando

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yadiel Reyes .

Hi Yadiel , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
My Artist name is Yady. I started playing music around 2 years old. I would play around with a microphone karaoke singing many different songs. Around 4 years old, I got a drum set and started playing that instrument. I then learned to play the guitar and piano by myself. In 2018, I was 13 years old and started my journey in my musical artist career and music production. I quickly over time started releasing many singles to where eventually, “My song “Get Down,” became my most popular song. The song gained over 800,000 streams, 100K views on YouTube, to then becoming a “Get Down (Remix)” with artist Flamen Barretta, Gaining over 1,000,000 Streams on Spotify and Over 1.2 Million Views on YouTube. Now, I am working on an upcoming album which will be my first album, and working in L.A with different people and record labels.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been a rough and smooth ride. Understanding that this doesn’t come easy and I need to work hard and be dedicated is something I realized. There are many bumps in the road to always come but I’ve learned that this is a part of anything that takes time.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I make different vibes of music. Right now I’ve been focusing on pop for my upcoming album. This is a unexpected switch although as I was known mostly for my “Get Down” rap dembow. I am most proud of being able to make a name for myself around in Orlando and different cities. I’m only 16 which is a start and difference in many artist. I’m glad that I can mix generes so much in my music which is something that’s sets me different from other artist.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In 5-10 years I hope to see myself doing a lot better in songwriting and singing for pop music and music in general.
