We’re looking forward to introducing you to Mico The Entrepreneur. Check out our conversation below.
Mico The Entrepreneur, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Yes, actually! Just last week I had a moment that made me laugh and cry at the same time. I’m a YouTube content creator, and during one of my live streams, someone commented that there was no audio. That’s when I realized I had been talking for ten minutes—completely muted! I went to delete that live, but somehow I accidentally checked the box to delete all my live videos, and everything was gone permanently. It was one of those “you just have to laugh” moments. Now I’m redoing my three most important lives to make sure my audience still gets that valuable information back.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Mico The Entrepreneur, Founder of the Customers and Drivers Movement, public speaker, and entrepreneur. I started this movement to help billions of food and grocery delivery customers, drivers, and merchants who rely on third-party delivery apps.
We’re building a forever community movement where customers, drivers, and merchants can finally win — together.
For Drivers: We help you earn more money, get bigger tips, and turn your work into a real business.
For Customers: We show you how to save money on food and grocery delivery fees.
For Merchants: We help you keep more of your profits, cut out high commissions, and hire your own 1099 delivery drivers per location.
Our mission is to help customers save money, empower drivers to become entrepreneurs, and protect merchants’ bottom lines.
Our vision is to create a lasting community movement that unites everyone in the delivery ecosystem — for good.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
What breaks the bonds between people is usually a mix of miscommunication, ego, and lack of understanding. When people stop listening and start assuming, it creates distance. In today’s world, everyone wants to be heard, but few want to truly listen — and that’s where connection breaks down.
What restores those bonds is empathy and accountability. When someone takes the time to understand another person’s perspective and takes ownership of their own actions, trust starts to rebuild. Real connection happens when people remember that we’re all human — we make mistakes, we feel pain, but we also have the power to forgive and grow.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, there was definitely a time when I almost gave up. Building this movement has been challenging because I’m working with three very different groups — customers, drivers, and merchants. Getting everyone on the same page and united around one mission and vision isn’t easy. It takes a lot of time, energy, and patience.
At one point, I really felt like throwing in the towel. Then I came across a social media post about public speaking through Speakers Playhouse. I decided to attend a few sessions, and that experience completely shifted my perspective. It helped me realize that I needed to share my story — the reason why I started this movement in the first place.
Since then, I’ve been invited to podcasts and virtual stages to speak about the movement. I learned that when I changed the narrative, it changed my mindset. That new approach gave new life to the movement and reminded me why I started — to create real change for customers, drivers, and merchants everywhere.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version of me is absolutely the real me. I have a personality that people naturally connect with — I’m outgoing, funny, and straightforward. Some people might find that a little intimidating, but I’ve learned that it’s just part of being confident in who I am.
What you see is what you get with me. I’m not phony; I’m a straight shooter. I’m not perfect, but every day I strive to be the best version of myself and to help others — whether that’s feeding the hungry, helping people find jobs, guiding them to start businesses, or showing them how to save money and protect their own.
I love being able to showcase my true personality. No matter what, I’ll always show up as the real me — genuine, passionate, and committed to making a difference.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I think the thing people might most misunderstand about my legacy is that it’s not just about me — it’s about the movement. I call it a “forever movement” because it’s bigger than any one person. Some might assume it’s just another initiative or business venture, but it’s really about creating lasting change for customers, drivers, and merchants in the delivery ecosystem.
My goal isn’t fame or recognition; it’s about empowering people to save money, earn more, and protect their businesses — while building a community that lasts. I hope people see that the legacy isn’t about me being remembered, but about the positive impact we leave on billions of lives and the connections we strengthen along the way.
