Hi Alivia , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Liv’s Visions Photography started as a hobby. I was only fourteen years old when I started practicing photography.
I then started getting an artist’s feel for it. After a couple of years of learning and practicing, I started to do sessions for free to build my portfolio. Then I took on a lot of work, and I decided to start charging for sessions, and everything went up from there. I did it as a side job while going to college, thinking I wanted a regular 9-5 job. But God had a bigger plan for me. I then realized why not just do what I love to do for a living? I absolutely loved taking photos, but I was told, and I even believed myself, that it was just a side job and I couldn’t do that as a career. God showed up and made me realize that he put that gift in me for a reason. He gave me the gift of taking timeless photographs for the most important times in people’s lives.
I truly love telling stories through my photographs. I LOVE my job!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As any Business owner may know..It isn’t easy. It ended up being harder than I thought it would be. But I knew that this was the hard I chose, and I learned to see the good through the hard, and it made the hard easier. I believe that with God, anything is possible. That includes running a business. I keep in mind that no matter the struggle, God was always there to give me strength.
There were times that I ran into problems and complications, and I even was at a point where I questioned if I should continue to do this. Thinking I wasn’t good enough. But that is not the kind of mindset that will get you where you want to be. I have learned as a business owner that your mindset is the biggest thing. If you believe you won’t make it and you keep procrastinating, then that is what your business will be. But if you continue to believe in the good and how much you are worth, you will see your business excel.

I am a professional Wedding and Lifestyle photographer based in central Florida. I have a love for capturing the most important times in my clients’ lives, whether that’s big or small, they are all worth celebrating. I am obsessed with golden hour! I am most proud of how much my business has grown over the last few years. I am forever thankful for all my clients. I love my job.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
The number one book that I read to help me be the best is the Bible. God transforms you through his word. Without it, I would be lost.
