Meet Angelo and Madison Licciardello

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelo and Madison Licciardello.

Hi Angelo and Madison, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We are Angelo and Madison Licciardello, co-owners of Licciardello Farms in Summerfield, Florida. Angelo and I grew up a few miles down the road from one another and somehow never crossed paths until our Senior Year. We’ve continued to grow up together over the years and have been married since 2019.

The idea to open Licciardello Farms began in late 2017. In years prior we had attended over ten weddings and often joked about being professional wedding guests. The majority of venues we attended were barns, and we were fascinated with the business model and industry itself. In early 2018, our wheels were turning, and we discussed the idea with Angelo’s parents, who had an old horse barn turned storage barn on their beautiful Summerfield property. A few months later, we were engaged, and shortly after that, Angelo’s father passed away. After a whirlwind few months, we decided to move forward with the project with Angelo’s mother, Sandra, as our business partner.

In the middle of planning our own wedding elsewhere, we began renovating the existing barn. Angelo reconfigured the existing barn layout to include a built-in bar with a cocktail service window, air-conditioned restrooms and storage room, additional under-roof space, outdoor patio area, custom made 16ft barn doors on each end of the barn, and our custom-built 8ft chandelier. The project took about a year to complete as Angelo worked on it tirelessly in the evenings and on weekends. We officially opened for bookings in October 2019.

Since then, we have hosted over 50 events both professionally and personally. We are equally proud and humbled by these first two years in business. We have hosted some of the most important and life-changing events in our clients’ lives, from Weddings to Baby Showers and even Celebrations of Life. It is truly an honor to be included in these events, and it brings the biggest smile to our faces when people express that they love the space we have created.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I wouldn’t say any new business is a smooth road, but we have been blessed with a great experience. The backend of the wedding industry is a new field to all of us, and while it’s been enjoyable, there have been a few learning curves. I have so much respect for our fellow vendors.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We rent our space for various events at multiple different price points. We are known for our modern farmhouse-style space working as a blank canvas. Our white walls and simple design offer endless decor options.

We are proud of what this space has brought to our community. Since 2019 we have hosted multiple charitable events and have had the honor to host Celebrations of Life for those in need of a peaceful, large space to do so. We take pride in being a family business. We strive to be friendly and easy to work with.

Such a beautiful venue! I love the journey of the Licciardello family. Great opportunity to use their property to help others enjoy their special events.
