Rising Stars: Meet Ankush Shah

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ankush Shah.

Hi Ankush, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
Cars & Coffee Central Florida is a monthly car event that brings car enthusiasts and local car clubs out to enjoy their cars while socializing and giving back to charity.

I started Cars & Coffee Central Florida 5 years ago in Lake Nona to bring the car community together and saw we could do more for a bigger purpose to give back to help kids in need. Nemours was a natural alignment for us as they use 100% of the funds donated directly for the children’s needs.

Through these Cars and Coffee Central Florida events in the last 5 years, we have been able to raise over $80,000.00 for the children at Nemours for supplies and things they need. We also host toy drives at events around the holidays where we collect thousands of toys every year for children in need.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We have gained so much support over the years from the city, police, local businesses, and car owners. It is amazing to see everyone come together for a great cause.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in Project Management, Events, and Marketing. 10 years ago, I created AutoLifeEvents.com for marketing and promoting the automotive culture and events nationwide. We are known for creating charity car events around Florida as well as bringing Cars to the Kids in the hospitals with Dream Cars 4 Kids.

I am most proud of how our event Cars & Coffee Central Florida has grown to continue to give back each month to kids who need our help.

We set ourselves apart from others by focusing on bringing the community, local businesses, and car owners together to join our mission to help others.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Credit goes to our volunteers, sponsors, the car owners, these are the people joining us each month to make the event an amazing experience and increase donations year over year. My wife, Sunie Shah, has played a tremendous role to help kick off the event and helping organize the logistics around the event.
