Today we’d like to introduce you to Antonia Bell.
Hi Antonia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Decorating was easy for us; after decorating our dads, 50 birthday party, it just sort of clicked, and decided to start a business decorating events and party planning. We are very creative and artistic, so party planning came easy to us.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Getting to where we are today hasn’t been easy. Becoming and entrepreneur and starting a business is an overwhelming process. We struggled with marketing, making the appropriate profit for the time and work we were providing and working on a time clock.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We specialize in party and event planning. We do pretty much everything from balloon sculptures to paintings and even custom crocs. We are known for our creativity and bringing any idea to life. We are proud of how fast our business has been growing. What sets us apart from others is that we think outside the box and try to make the decorating fun.
Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
We think starting a business is a risk in its self because you ever know if you will grab the attention of an audience and you are putting all this money, time and effort into these projects that you hope someone will catch an interest in. You have to take risk to stand out and be different from everyone else.
